As a Senior Business Consultant, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring successful implementation of the functional area of expertise. You will play the role of interface between the project team and the business stakeholders and ensure that all actions are taken to fully satisfy the client’s functional needs in their business / functional domain.

Your Role

​

• Analyse client business requirements and relate them to the products capability.

• Writing of specifications when needed for local development and ensure the development teams have a clear understanding of these specifications.

• Identify and validate any gaps together with proposals for their resolution (e.g. work arounds or changes in processes) and ensure any solutions proposed are realistic and within the agreed scope of the project.

• Define and validate customization needs as per agreed business definitions.

• Manage content and product repository to analyse, review and update investment ideas from initiation to closure

• Establish governance processes, such as approval workflows, access rights and embedded controls

• Review client organization, processes, and workflows to propose a 'post-picture' to maximize the benefit as well as make recommendations on best practices or alert on practices that might damage the client's business or contradict legal requirements.

• Develop change management plan and conduct workshops to demonstrate the product capabilities

• Manage the communications with all stakeholders and be a single point of contact for any queries

• End User Training and Mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or IT.

• At least 5 years of experience in the financial services and banking industry, with a background in product governance

• Knowledge of investment products and change management will be required

• Experience working in project teams in the banking sector will be a plus

• Works independently and in collaborative manner and masters the business skills required to accomplish the job.

• Excellent communication skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
