Senior Test Manager

As a Senior Test Manager, you will held a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of client banking systems and investment solutions.

The candidate will bring their expertise and experience in the banking process and quality assurance knowledge to drive successful testing initiatives for multiple agile teams and contribute to client’s successful and high quality product releases.

Your Role

  • Lead and manage teams of QA professionals to plan and successfully execute testing activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business flow, testing needs, requirements, and objectives to develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans and test cases. Review user stories and function specification documents with business analysts.

  • Facilitate and execute functional, regression, system integration, automated, performance and production tests on various projects.

  • Manage, analyse, and document test results with defect management and test management tools.

  • Identify areas for test automation and optimize testing processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Provide stakeholders and management with updates on testing progress, quality metrics, potential risks, and overall project status for decision-making.

  • Prioritise defects and follow up with technical teams to ensure they are properly resolved. Escalate, negotiate, and coordinate issues in triage on critical path to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Collaborate closely with vendors to ensure that they deliver their testing requirements in accordance with the terms of their contracts.

  • Lead ongoing improvement initiatives to optimise and enhance the QA testing tools and processes with industry best practices and emerging technology.

Your Profile


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent education

  • 8+ years of working experience in software testing and quality assurance role

  • Hands-on experience in planning and overseeing testing tasks.

  • Good understanding of testing methodology and practises.

  • Strong background experience in the banking and finance industry, with a solid understanding of banking processes, systems, and regulations and in-depth knowledge of investment products is preferrable.

  • Agility in adjusting to evolving priorities and thriving in a rapidly changing, dynamic setting.

  • Relevant testing certifications (CAST, ISTQB etc.) are a plus.

  • Attention to detail and commit to high-quality results.

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global setting.
